i went to the PSB to get a new visa and they said they need my husband's bank account with 50,000 rmb in it..this is the third time im getting a visa but they never asked about it,this is the first time they are asking me this...im confused!...tnx

May be the rule has been changed, but you must provide it if you want to get the visa. I don't think it matters too much, just the bank account to prove that you have enough funds to cover your stay in China. You may be granted a long duration in China this time.
