About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I'm a resident of the US but have a Mexican passport. How can I apply for a Visa?

I'm currently living in the US but don't have citizenship, only residency rights. I have my Mexican passport and will be traveling to China for leisure. How can I apply for a Visa? I wil be flying from Los Angeles, CA. I don't know if I need to go through the consulate in Tijuana, MX or Los Angeles, Ca.

You can apply for a China visa in USA because you have US resideny right, where do you live in USA? China consulate in Los Angeles covers Southern California, Arizona, Hawaii, New Mexico and American Pacific islands. If you don't live in the above states, please go to the Visa Office of the Embassy or Consulate -General which holds consular jurisdiction over the state where you reside;

Hi, if you go to China for sightseeing purpose, you need to provide a filled-out application form affixed with a passport-style photo, your passport and its photocopy, residence permit or valid visa in USA, round trip air tickets and hotel reservation. Then, submit the application to the China embassy or consulate to apply for a tourist L type.
