About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

What is the amount to be deposit before a chinese person wants to visit south africa.

They say chinese people have to have a return ticket and deposit R15000.00 when they apply for a visitors visa.

If you can't provide bank statements, salary advices, credit cards statements or travelers’ cheque as the proof of adequate funds to cover envisaged living expenses during the sojourn in the Republic. You may be required to make such a deposit which will be refunded to you after the final departure.
