About getting papers of the citizens of Uzbekistan entering China notarized by the Embassy of PRC

Hi!
I'm currently working in China on a working visa. I was planning to bring over my dependants, my wife and son. The local entry and exit Bureau is asking for a notarized copy of the marriage certificate by the embassy in Uzbekistan, as i am the citizen of that country. Is it possible to get it done at the Embassy in Tashkent, Uzb? My family has been here before but this is the first time we've been asked to present the notarized copy of the marriage certificate. Your quick reply would be appreciated! Thanks!

The marriage certificate should be translated into Chinese version, the original marriage certificate and its translation copy should be authenticated by Uzbekistan Foreign Affairs Ministry, then authenticated by Chinese embassy in Tashkent.
