About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

is required to get approval of Foreigner Ministry

I am Canadian citizen I want to apply for visit visa to China for first time, is required to submit an invitation letter approved from China Foreigner Ministry or not.

If you go to China for tourism, no invitation will be requried, but you have to provide round-trip air ticket and hotel booking in China.
