What is the difference between a business F and a tourist L?

If i was to obtain a business F, what would i require and what my family also be able to travel with the same visa.

Business F type and tourist L type are issued for different travel purposes and require different documents. If only you will do business in China, then your family may just apply for a tourist visa.
