What does the invitation letter have to say?

What does the invitation letter have to say? I'm visiting as a tourist and staying with friends so will not have any hotel reservations.

The invitation letter should include your travel time, purpose, itinerary, accommodation and your friends' valid address, contacts, copies of their valid passport information page, Chinese residence permit or Chinese Identity card.
