From Macau Ferry Terminal how to reach Downtown especially Senado Square ?

Since I will be in Macau just for a day I would like to know how to get around in the city. I would also like to go and see VENETIAN HOTEL RESORT. What will be the Taxi fare from Senado Square to this Venetian Hotel ? As i will be having a limited hours of stay in Macau but certainly would like to see important sites. Please advise.
