If it is the first time for you to apply China visa, for businessmen, business registration of company, TIN ID and latest ITR are required. Now you can't provide ITR, you have your friend's passport copy, bank account certificates, valid residential visa and his invitation, they are very helpful for your application, you can have a try, maybe you will be issued a visa.
