About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

must i need to apply for a visa to tibet ?

i am a singaporean holding singapore passport ,if im intend to go to tibet by train from chengdu to lhasa ,must i need to apply for a visa in order to visit tibet ? im go alone by myself i dont not join any travel agent .thank you .

You do not need a China Visa but visiting Tibet, you must get a pre-approved permit in order to enter to Tibet.

As EH replied, you have to get a Tibet Entry Permit in avance, you can't get it in person, you have to contact a travel agency to help you to get it.
