do i need hong kong visa?

i have the US green card and Viet Nam passport. I'll have a trip to Viet nam and stop at hong kong for one day. Do i need to apply for hong kong visa when I check out of Hong kong airport? and how can i apply for hong kong visa fastest way? can i do online?

You need to apply for Hong Kong visa if you will check out of Hong Kong airport, please apply Hong Kong visa at China embassy/consulate in USA, you can't do it online, can you tell me which city, state do you live in USA? You have to submit the application to the Visa Office of the Embassy or Consulate -General which holds consular jurisdiction over the state where you reside.
