Transit and then visit China

Hi,

We are Swiss passport holders, plan to visit Mongolia first before China tour and would most likely use Beijing as transit point for Mongolia.
Do we need transit visa ?
Thanks,
ken

How long will you stop in Beijing? Will you exit the airport during the transit?

The idea is to fly into Beijing then take the connecting flight out to UB the same day without getting out of the airport. After the Mongolian tour we would fly back to Beijing to start the China tour.

As we are coming in with an international flight to Beijing, how do we reclaim our luggage before checking in for our flight to UB ? Do we have to check our luggage through to UB ?

You don't have to claim your luggage during the transit in Beijing from Switzerland to Mongolia.
