About:Embassy of Ghana in China

Renew Ghanaian Passport in China

Hello, I'm a Ghanaian living in China. I'm a holder of the old passport and it dated to expire on the October,2014. Please,i will like to know whether i can renew it here or i should go back to Ghana to renew it there. Again, if i should go back to Ghana to do it, how much time will it take to get it and how much will it cost? Also, must i provide some documents for the processes. If i decide to go to Ghana in coming December,my visa would still be valid and can the embassy transfer my visa to the new one?

You may just renew your passport at the Embassy of Ghana in Beijing. You may contact your embassy directly to get the application details through Tel: (+86)10 6532 1319, 6532 1544, 6532 2012
or Fax: (+86)10 6532 3602 during the office hours: 09:00 – 13:00 (Monday to Friday)

its easy to renew. i applied for mine in January and i was called by the embassy to come for it in march.
