application through embassy sent to hong kong for processing

Question

I have already submitted to the Embassy of the Chinese Consulate as of Feb 20,2012.  I called  The Government of the HKSAR  Department yesterday, they  still have not receive my application. So i would like to know how many days it will take  for the papers to get from the Embassy to the Hong Kong  department of immigration?  Also, is there a phone number or department within the Embassy ,in which i can follow up on the status of my application being sent to Hong kong for processing?

I find for you that the contact info. of the consular section  of the China Emabssy in Ottawa are Tel:613-7893434 ext.232 Email: mfa.gov.cn|consulate_canYou cac try to contact them 09:00-13:00 (Monday-Friday except for public hilodays).
