About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Is personal appearance required for China visa application?

It says, Personal appearance is required for those who are 16-21 years old. I'm 47 years old and my son is 8 years old. Can we just mail our application for a tourist visa or do we have to apply personally? Thanks.

In your case, personal appearance is not required, but emabssy consulate may not accept mail applications. If you can not go in person, you may entrust someone else to drop your applications to the embassy/consulate.
