About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Teaching then travelling

I have been teaching in china for nearly 4 months and want to travel around when my contract finishes after 6 months. My visa will run out when I finish my contract, what is the situation with getting a visa to travel in china for a while once my contract is over at my school.

It is easy, you can extend your Z visa at local PSB a week before it expires. They will issue you a tourist visa, with duration of 30 days in general. I think it is enough for you to travel.
