About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Multiple Visa Issues (Help please)

Hi,

If I am notcurrently employed and have a sponsor in China who sent all necessary documents. I also have my own savings under my name. Do I get a good chance of getting an L visa compared to presenting employment docs (kind off incomplete) plus my sponsor's documents.

I am employed under our family business but im hesitant to apply for L visa using my employment docs because I dont have an SSS ID card yet (takes forever to be released) although my contributions are up to date. And my names in both SSS and BIR are still my married name but I am already annulled. I also already requested for my name to be reverted back to my maiden name but again it takes awhile to take effect.

My passport is under my maiden name and so is my NBI clearance. Please let me know whats my best option to get an L visa, my flight is booked for March 17, 2012. I plan to go to the embassy on Monday to submit my docs. Tried calling the embassy but to no avail.

If you can't provide the SSS ID card, don't delcare that you are employed on the visa application form V.2011A, then you don't need to provide an employment certificate, company ID, SSS ID and contributions, TIN ID and latest ITR.

You have the bank certificate with enough money and the documents from sponsor in China, you get a good chance of getting an L visa.

Thanks Jim! I got the same advise from a friend who deals with visa applications for different embassies.

I'll apply with just using my sponsor's documents then and hope for the best! I think its also better as I won't need to deal with my marital status concerns. =)
