About:Chinese Embassy in Russia

Z-VISA from St. Petersburg consulate

Hello,
I am a UK passport holder and would like to obtain a Chinese Z-VISA from the consulate in St. Petersburg in order to teach English. Does the following list cover everything I need to take?
- My UK passport
- Forms V2011A and V2011B
- Passport photograph
- Degree certificate
- Letter from school confirming employment
- Entry and exit dates and details

Besides the documents you listed, you also need to provide Foreign Experts Permit and Russian Residence Permit or Russian Work Permit valid for at least 6 months.

Hi Jim, thank you for your answer :)
I'm not living in Russia, but will be visiting on a tourist VISA. Can I use another piece of documentation in place of the Russian Residene Permit/Work Permit. And what is a Foreign Experts Permit, do you know how I get hold of that?

Hi Edward, you plan to apply for the China work visa in St. Petersburg, right? Actually, there is no Chinese consulate there, and you should go to the Consulate General of China in Houston to apply for the visa.
Besides the documents you listed above, others required are:
1. The Employment License for Foreigners issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security; and
2. Alien Employment License of the People's Republic of China issued by an authorized Chinese unit (original and copy).
3. physical examination record with blood test.
