About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

do I need transit visa

I am returning to Sydney Australia from Uzbekistan (Uzbek Air) via Beijing, and have several hours layover overnight before boarding the Sydney Air China flight. About 8-10 hours. Do I need a visa if I go to a hotel for the night?

If you will go out of the airport, you will have to apply for a china transit visa; if you will just stay at the hourly lounge in the airport, no visa will be needed.
