China Visa on Arrival

Hi i am coming from India to visit an exhibition in Guangzhou from Feb 28-March 2 and meet some suppliers with whom we have been doing business since the past 3 years. For unknown reasons, the chinese consulate has suddenly decided to take 8 days instead of the regular 4 days to issue a visa. I cannot get a visa in Mumbai in time now, since they will give it to me on March 3 (after the show gets over). Is there any way i can get a visa on arrival?

It is very very hard to get a visa on arrival in Guangzhou, if the supplier in China can get an official letter from a Foreign Affairs Office which approves you to get a visa on arrival at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, then you can get it.

If you really want to attend this exhibition, you can first go to Hong Kong and apply for China visa through China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Ltd.
