Which train station is faster if i'm going to shanghai people square??

Hi, I'll be going to shanghai hotel New Harbour Service Apartment (88, YongShou Road) from hangzhou Renhe Hotel (86, Youdian Road), May i ask which train station at hangzhou should i be using and which shanghai train station shall i be reaching to reach my shanghai hotel faster?? Shanghai HongQiao or Shanghai South station??

You can take a taxi for 2km from your hotel to Hangzhou Railway Station and then take bullet train or high speed train to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station. After arrival at Hongqiao trian station, you can take subway Line 10 to Laoximen and transfer to subway line 8 to Dashijie Station, then walk about several minutes to the hotel New Harbour Service Apartment. Or you can take subway line 2 from Hongqiao train station to People's Square and transfer to subway line 8 to Dashijie Station, then walk to the hotel.

shanghai railway station is closer to your hotel in shanghai, but there are more train options from hangzhou - shanghai to shanghai hongqiao railway station. either way you can get metro line to people's square then interchange line 8 to da shi jie which is 10 min by walking to your hotel.
