I am travelling from NY to Hong Kong for an emergency. Will I be able to get a Visa to visit Shenzhen upon my arrival to Hong Kong? How long will it take?

You can apply for a China visa in Hong Kong, through the Commissioner's Office of Foreign Affairs Ministry of P.R.China in Hong Kong, it takes 4 working days for regular service, it costs HK$ 1100. If you need a China visa on the same day, you have to apply it through China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Ltd. It is impossible for you to get a Shenzhen visa on arrival.
