Not just for the Lunar New Year, there are special delicacies for each traditional festa in China, such as Moon cake for the Mid-autumn Day, Laba Porridge for the Laba Festival and Zongzi (pyramid-shaped glutinous rice wrapped in reed or bamboo leaves) for the Dragon Boat Festival.

Different food contain dofferent implications, such as Dunplings which promounces as Jiao zi symbolizing the end of the old year and the beginning of the New Year.
