double entry or multiple entry visa

what kind of visa do i need to apply if i were to go to hong kong for a day trip from guangzhoua? is it double or multiple? i'm staying in guangzhoua for 4 days.

If your trip is Guangzhou - Hong Kong - Guangzhou, you need a double entry China visa, you don't need a visa to Hong Kong.

If your trip is Guangzhou - Hong Kong- next country, you need a single entry China visa, you don't need a visa to Hong Kong.
