Travelling to Beijing for 4 days on our way home from Korea to Germany

My husband (German) and I (British) have been living in Korea for over a year. Our Korean alien regristration cards expire in July, as we are going back to Germany. We would like to see Beijing for 4 or 5 days on our way home. Where can we apply for the visas?

You can't apply for China tourist visa (L visa) in Korea because your Korean alien regristration cards don't have at least 6 months remaining validity. Please go to Hong Kong or Macau first to get a China visa, then go to Beijing for 4 - 5 days.
