About:China Visa Applications at CVASC in Denmark

China Visa extension??

We have just obtained L type visas in Copenhagen valid from Jan. 31 to April 30, one entry of 30 days. Copies of our return tickets were handed in with the applications. However, counting the day of entry and the morning hours of the day of departure, our stay will technically speaking amount to 31 days. Is it necassary to go to the PSB and apply for an additional day - and what does that cost and require in time and documentation? Can it be done from another city than the one of departure? Anyone, please, thankyou....

Yes, it is necessary to go to the PSB to apply for an additional day, it costs RMB 160, the requirements are: your passports, one passport photo per person, fill in the visa application form, the round-trip flight tickets, the accommodation sheet from a hotel or local police station, the extension of stay duration can be done from another city than the one of departure.

Ryan, thanks for your help. Could you also please tell me what the 'accomodation sheet' that you mention is? Also, how long time does the processing of the extension take? Thanks. Michael

'accomodation sheet' refers to the registration form of accommodation, if you live in a hotel, the hotel can give you this form, if you stay at a house of your friend, just go to local police station to get it. It takes one week for the processing of visa extension, you'd better apply for extension one week before the expiry date.
