About:Chinese Embassy in Trinidad and Tobago

What is the China visa application process if I possess a Trinidad and Tobago passport?

I was accepted to attend the Global Young Leaders Conference (GYLC) to be held in China from July 24th- August 5, 2012. However, I am unaware of the process to acquire a visa to China and would like to know about the process and any supporting documents that may be needed.

Please apply for a China business visa (F visa) to attend the Global Young Leaders Conference (GYLC) in June, a single-entry China visa is valid for 3 months, if you apply visa too early, it expires before you go to China. Applications by post will not be accepted. You should submit their applications in person or entrust a third party to submit their applications on their behalf. Appointments are not required. Visa may be refused without detailed explanation.

You are required to submit the following documents:
(1) A valid original passport. There must be one blank visa pages in the passport. Pages for endorsements or amendments cannot be used as a visa page. The passport should be valid for at least 6 months;

(2) One completed Chinese Visa Application Form V.2011A signed by you.

(3) One recent passport photograph of white background affixed to the visa application form. Life photos, copied photos and digital photos printed on ordinary paper are not acceptable.

(4) Invitation Letter issued by the organizor of the conference

(5)A copy of Chinese hotel booking;

(6)A copy of onward and return flight ticket booking;

It takes four working days to handle the above visa applications. It costs 200.00 T.T. Dollars for single entry visa
