The company can't issue your a work permit, it is the local Human Resources & Social Security Bureau issue a work permit to Foreign Workers. You hold a F visa to work in a langulage research institute as a kindergarden teacher, you don't need to apply for work permit, if you hold a Z visa to enter China, you have to apply directly for the Employment Permit by presenting your Employment Visa (Z) and relevant papers within 30 days after your entry into China.

If your company can deal with the work visa for you, it will issue you an official invitation letter and Alien Employment License to you, then you can use the two documents to apply Z visa in India. Therefore, I guess that it can't get the two documents for you, so you have to take F visa to work.

You need to check whether a visa with multi-entry within half year or one year. If that's the mult-entry more than 6 months, you have to go to HK or Macau or another coutries for a short stay once per month, then re-enter China.

Visa less than 6 months won't cause any problems, so how long will you stay here?

One more thing, if you get the residence permit or Z visa, you can stay in China from 6 months to 1 year without any worries of the re-entry issue.
