I plan to travel from India to USA  through Shanghai or Beijing(transit)Do I need a visa for China?

A transit visa is not required if you have the confirmed air tickets and the transit in the two airports is less than 24 hours, please show your valid passport, USA visa on your passport, confirmed air tickets when you pass the immigration.
