What is needed for a German national living in Switzerland for a China visa?

If you come to China for tourism, the following documents are required:
(i) Original passport must have more than 2 blank visa pages.
(ii) completed Visa Application Form V.2011A with a recently-taken colorful passport photo stuck on it;
completed visa application form V.2011B
(iii) return flight ticket and booking document for the hotel in China
(iv) resident document in Switzerland or the original or copy of work permit
