applying HKSAR passport and smart I.D. card

Dear sir or madam,

I am currently lived in Seattle, Washington. I need to apply HKSAR passport and smart ID card. I have my H.K. old I.D. card (3 stars type). Can I come to Vancouver B.C. Chinese General Consulate to submit the applications? Do I need to schedule an appointment or line up to take an admission number? What form of payment do you accept like cash, credit card or personal check or money order? Thanks!

Seattle, Washington is under the consular districts of Consulate General of China in San Francisco, you need to come to San Francisco Consulate to submit the application. There is no need to make an appointment or line up to take an admission number. The consulate accepts Money Order, Cashier's Check, Visa and Master Card. Company Check, Cash and Personal check are not acceptable.
