NZ Citizen living in Solomon islands

Hi, I am a NZ citizen living and working in Solomon Islands. I recently received a bursary to attend a training in Shangai, China from March 6 - 16 March 2012. Would you kindly advise how I might go about obtaining a Visa to enter China from Solomon Islands? Would I need to work through the NZ High Commission here in Honiara? Kind Regards Paul

There is no China embassy or consulate in Solomon Islands, please apply for a China visa through the China embassy in the nearest country, such as Papua New Guinea. If you can go to New Zeland, you can also apply China visa through China embassy in Wellington or China Consulate in Auckland.
