I live in Kentucky, USA and will be traveling to Shanghai in July/Aug 2012. Where & how do I Apply?

Kentucky is under consular districts of China embassy in Washington D.C., please go to Washington D.C. to apply for China visa. You can submit visa application in person to the embassy, if you can't come to the embassy in person, you can entrust someone else to do it for you, the application by post is not accepted.

Please apply for visa in early June, a single entry visa is only valid for 3 months, if you apply for visa too early, the visa will be void when you go to Shanghai in July/August 2012.
