If you take a flight to go to Beijing and stay for 4 days, then go on an international cruise ship to go to Shanghai and disembark in Shanghai for 1 day, a double entry visa is required. It costs AU$ 90 per person for a double entry visa.

A double-entry visa is also required if you are on an international cruise ship and disembark in Beijing or Shanghai.
