Enter China on the expiry date of Chinese visa

Hello My on chinese visa is expiring 22nd feb 2012 and I am planning to enter on 22ndFeb 2012 afterrnoon. Is it permittable to enter on day of expiring day. Visa clearly stated that enter before 22nd Feou!b.2012
