How to get to Badaling from Beijing West Railway station I will be staying nearby

How to get to Badaling from Beijing West Railway station I will be staying nearby in a hotel and I believe the train runs from Beijing north Railway station is there a local train that goes from west station to north station

There is no subway train from the west to the north train station. If you are also close to Military History Museum station, you can take subway Line 1 and then Line 2 to Xizhimen Subway Station. The north railway station is opposite the subway station of Xizhimen.
