L-VISA TO Z-VISA

Im from Philippines, I got a job from China and my employer gave me only an L-VISA to be apply here in the Philippines valid for 3-months. But unfortunately, my employer gave me the documents to be apply again for a working visa (Z-Visa). And Im not yet using my L-Visa. What will happen to my previous Visa? Can I apply a new visa (Z-VISA) since my L-Visa is active?

One is not allowed to work in China with an L visa. So if you wan to work in China, you'd better apply for a work visa. Also, one cannot hold two China visas at the same time. Your L visa will be automatically cancelled once you get the work visa.
