About:Chinese Permanent Residence Permit

updated requirements for permanend resident's permit application

according to the requirements in here for the application of permanent resident's permit,it's a bit different from the requirements listed in the catalogue given by the "Division of exit and entry adiministration of guangzhou municipal public security bureau.in this website travelchinaguide.com it is easier to fullfil the requirements, some of the differences are:
1. Press Card, the certificate of resident foreign press issued by foreign press affairs department of the ministry of foreign affairs and its organization code.
2.an application letter from foreign affairs office of People's Government of Guangdong Province
I dont know where to apply these two requirements are these necessary or i can just provide the requirements listed in this website?

I'll be applying for a permanent resident's permit because my husband is a chinese citizen

Since your husband is a Chinese, you are eligible for Permanent Residence for Spouse Reunion if you meet the requirements: your marriage has lasted for five years, and you have lived in China for five years in a row, the annual stay in China being no shorter than nine months, and you have stable and secured living status and place to live. Otherwise, you cannot apply for the permanent resident visa.
However, you can apply for a temporary resident visa. The difference is that you need to extend it within China before it expires.
