About:China Visa Exemption

Visa or ID card on official passport for stay less then 2 month

Hi! my mother arrived beijing on 25-11-2011 and will stay in beijing uptill 9-01-2012. She is holding a official (Pakistani) passport. i want to know that whether ID or visa is required for her or just the official passport is ok.

Visa on official passport is required for stay in China for less than 2 months. Pakistani official passport holders are exempt from a visa to Mainland China for 30 days, your mother will stay in China for more than 1 month, so she needs to obtain a China visa.
