About:China Student Visa

Resident permit fees

My question is that when we enter in China with students (X) visa, then within 30 days we must need to change it with W visa, at that time here in China, The Chines Visa office, why they charging from every Pakistani students RMB 400/ for every year in account of resident permit fees.
I think every Pakistani student must be exempted from that fees, because many students cant afford it, just like me.

It's true that Pakistani are exempt from visa fees, but the residence permit is not a visa although it can be used as multiple entry visa. It's the rule of Exit-Entry Administrative Bureau of Chinese government, we can't bargain, just follow it.

The residence permit has to be renewed every year, so it is charged annually.
