"i've heard that Thai people has to have a labor contract in order to be able to travel abroad", is this required by Thailand government? I'm not clear about their policies.
Here are the requirements for a China business visa for your reference: applicant's passport valid for at least 6 months and with at least 2 blank pages; visa application form V2011A; one recent passport photo; "Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit" or "Confirmation Letter of Invitation".
