About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

I am an travelling to HongKong for 1 week from the 6/12/11 to 13/12/11.My passport expires on 6/2/12

is this okay or do I need to renew my passport ?

It's OK since you'll be there for only one week. But you'd better provide the evidence of it, like the return ticket or hotel reservation.
