Will Chinesa embassy accept my visa application for Hong Kong?

I am applying for a Hong Kong visa for the first time. I have to get the visa within a month. What should I do to get the visa asap? I can understand that I have to apply directly to Immigration Dept. Of HKSAR but can I submit my application in Chinese embassy in Kathmandu?

Yes, you can also apply for China visa from China embassy or consulate in your country.
