No Roundtrip Ticket

I just want to ask if it is neccessary to have a roundtrip ticket when applying for a visa? Can I apply a visa without the roundtrip plane ticket?

Yes, it is necessary to have a round-trip plane ticket when you apply for a China visa. If you don't provide it, your application will be denied.

If you apply for work visa or student visa or journalist 1 visa, you don't need to provide a return flight ticket.
