About:Embassy of Sri Lanka in China

need visa or not for flight transfer

i would like to go to Maldives in Jan, our flight transfer in Sri Lanka, we will stay at Sr Lanka airport for 8 hours, in this case, do we need to apply for Sri lanka visa or not?

If you are a Chinese national, you don't need to apply for Sri Lanka visa for 8 hours stopover in Sri Lanka airport. Chinese nationals don't need a visa for less than 30 days visit in Sri Lanka.
