About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Visa without hotel reservation

Hello, I am currently a French student living in South Korea until next year. I want to apply for a Chinese visa to visit a friend from France who lives there. He told me that he provided many documents to his brother so he would not need to book a hotel (passport, student id, letter from the government attesting he currently lives in China...) It worked in France, his brother got the visa, and I am wondering if this could apply in Korea too. Thank you for answering!

Yes, it still applies in Korea too, your friend in China also needs to send you many documents. Besides, you should have Korea alien registration card with at least 6 months remaining validity, otherwise, you can't apply for China visa in Korea.

Thank you so much! Another question though. Is it OK if I provide a one-way ticket Seoul to Shanghai and a return ticket Shanghai to Bangkok? I think it should be but I prefer being sure ^^ Thanks!
