About:Marriage Registration in China

Hi,

I am planning to marry with my China boy friend who are fujian ningde, hence i
several questions that still not clear after asking from some offices:-

I am Singapore Chinese .I am divorced and have the original divorce certificate(Decree Nisi Absolute) .
My questions are:-
1. Is Singapore having their official format of single status certificate?
2. Do i have to apply the single status certificate and certified in Singapore (affidavic notarised)or
can i do it in Singapore embassy in China?
3. Can i proceed the official translation in China rather than do it in Singapore?
4. Can i proceed the marriage in China?
5. Do i need to proceed the marriage registration in Singapore or in China itself should be fine? Can i just proceed to translate the "China marry certificate" and get it certified in Singapore and can be recognised by Singapore goverment?
6. If in future, my child is born in China and can i convert the baby to Singapore Nationality and is there any deadline of doing this after child born? Or i should report it to any office before the baby is born? Can i apply the above in Singapore embassy in China or need to go back to Singapore to proceed?
7.Does the China Embassy in Singapore do translation of English documents like single status certificate/Decree Nisi Absolute to Chinese Language ?
8.May i know how can i get a translated English for my single status certificate/Decree Nisi Absolute to Chinese Language ?
9. May i know how long will all this process take?

Please advise as need help on this! Thanks.

1. yes, Singapore has its official format of single status certificate.
2. you have to apply the single status certificate and certificated in Singapore (Affidavit of Single Status notarized first by a local Notary Public and then to be authenticated by the Singapore Academy of Law. )
3. You have to proceed the official translation in Singapore.
4. once you make the Affidavit of Single Status and Decree NISI Absolute authenticated by Singapore Academy of Law and China embassy in Singapore, you can make the marriage registration in China.
5. You can translate the China marriage certificate and get it certificated by Singapore embassy or consulate in China, it can be recognized by Singapore government.
6. If your child is born in China, report the birth to the Singapore embassy or consulate in China to make birth registration and apply Singapore nationality for the child.
7. China embassy in Singapore doesn't do translation of English documents like single status certificate/Decree Nisi Absolute to Chinese Language.
