need for visa?

Hello

Im going to Melbourne, Australia within 1 month.
But on the way home to Norway, im going to stop by Guangzhou (China) and next Hong Kong, then back to Oslo, Norway. When im staying in Guangzhou and waiting for the connecting flight for about 20 hours to Hong Kong, can i stay and have a rest at airport transit hotel Pullman Guangzhou Baiyun Airport without a visa to China?
