About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Chances of getting single entry, tourist visa for a local, mid-level, government official?

I have personally arranged/booked/secured the ff: epassport to be released dec 3; nbi cert; itr proof of income of almost 600 thousand pesos/year; airfare ticket cathay pacific round trip dec 27 to jan 2; hotel reservation during my stay; travel authority from my mayor who is my immediate superior; bamk account of 70,000 balance. Given the requirements i enumerated, will i get approved?

Approval will only be known by the Visa Officer. Based on your documents provided, you have high chances of getting a visa. It would also help if you have travelled out of your country in the past. Travelling to china alone, not being able to speak local dialect (mandarin) will be very hard on your part. Try to secure a group tour perhaps.
