taking Canadian citizenship oath but travelling to China

I'm invited to take Canadian citizenship oath next month but I already booked a trip to China (I'm still holding a Chinese passport). If I take the oath and receive Canadian citizenship oath, do I have to have a Canadian passport and Chinese travel visa to enter China? I'm afraid I won't have enough time to apply for both the Canadian passport and the visa.

As I know, when you go to take the oath, your old passport will be taken away. So, if you go back to China before the oath, no proble. After the oath, process the visa as soon as possible.

Another information. The oath can be postponed, taken after you return.
